Friday, December 12, 4:15 PM update:

Hi there, skiers and riders, our birthday wishes came true, the wind decreased and it's been flurrying all day. For Saturday, we plan to make turns on 28 trails with 21 of those starting the day with a fresh groom. At Carinthia, The Gulch is open with 14 features, and there's a hike park on Grommet with 5 features.

Bluebird Express, Sundance Express, Canyon Express, Discovery Shuttle, Heavy Metal, Outpost, and Apollo are scheduled with first chair of the day at 8:00 and last chair at 4:00. Check the Lift & Terrain Status page for the most up-to-date status.

Saturday's forecast is calling for mostly cloudy skies with some afternoon show showers, a high of 22 degrees at the summit with WSW 20-35 mph winds and 30 degrees at the base with SW 12-18 mph winds. These wind speeds are looking better, however that SW direction does have the potential to affect the Bluebird, so please check back for any updates. 

Snowmaking is cranking on Nitro, Lower Fool's Gold, Mixing Bowl, Shooting Star, Bear Paw, and Thanks Walt. Later this weekend and into next week, their plans include Little John, Plummet, Snowdance Pitch, Charlie's Chase, Tin Lizzy, and Milky Way. Stay tuned for updates!

Lifts are scheduled from 8:00 to 4:00 on weekends and 9:00 to 4:00 midweek. As always, lift operations are weather dependent.

This weekend the Carinthia Base Lodge opens, offering tickets, restrooms, retail, rentals, and food and drinks at High Timber and High Timber Lounge. The summit cafe also opens, joining The Bullwheel. While Sundance Express is scheduled, the Sundance Base Lodge will remain closed for a private event; tickets and bathrooms only will be available through the south entrance but the lodge itself will remain closed. The Main Base Lodge is open with Marketfresh, Cuzzins, Station Tap Room, 1900' Burger (opening Saturday), Canned, Tony's Pizza, and Vermont Country Deli. 

Expect early season conditions and please ski and ride with caution. 

Uphill travel is closed during operating hours on Saturday, if you'd like to head out before or after, please call the uphill hotline 802-339-8474 and check the uphill kiosk between parking Lot C and Launch Pad for the most up-to-date info.

Beginning December 13: D Lot, Tiered Lots, and E Lot offer free parking daily. The MOOver shuttles are scheduled along with the Covered Bridge. A Lot and Carinthia Upper are paid lots daily. On weekends and holidays, B Lot, C Lot, Sundance Lot, and Carinthia Lower are paid lots. To pay for your spot, look for the sign with your zone and use the Passport Parking app. All lots are free after 1:00 PM. If your car has four or more people in it, you can use the free carpool sections in the southern end of Lower Carinthia or the northeast end of B Lot.  

Northeast Value Pass Holders: your next restricted peak dates are 12/26–12/31. Epic Local Passes have no restricted peak dates at Mount Snow! College Pass Holders, this one's for you: you may verify your college pass by sending your official college school schedule to https://epicpass.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new, including the student's name and proof of at least 12 credit hours (undergraduate) or 6 hours (graduate) per semester for the 2025/26 school year. To verify your Pass, your name on the credit hours registration proof must match the name on the Pass you purchased. In a pinch, you may also present your student verification at the ticket window, though digitally sending in your enrollment verification is highly recommended.
