We're Making Snow!
Thursday, October 18, 2018
The long wait is over, as we've officially begun making snow for the 2018/19 winter season!
Last night around 9 p.m. our team flipped the switch on the most powerful snowmaking system in the Northeast and with that, winter has begun here at Mount Snow. As of this morning, we're running 133 snowguns that are flowing nearly 5,000 gallons of water per minute on four trails, including Free Fall, River Run, Cascade, and Canyon and plan to run for as long as we have temperatures to do so.
Now I know you're all wondering when we're going to open up. We'll be announcing an opening date soon, but can tell you that it won't be this coming weekend of Oct. 19-21, we'd rather get things right when we open and have several trails skiing nicely. So get your gear ready, and be sure to purchase your Peak Pass before prices go up Friday at midnight. Head over to mountsnow.com/passes for details.
Until then Think Snow!
