23rd Annual Mount Snow Brewers Fest

Wednesday, July 12, 2017

Can you believe we’ve been doing this for over 20 years?

Well, it’s that time again. Time when we start lining up the breweries and cideries for the annual celebration of sun and suds on Labor Day Weekend that is the 23rd Annual Mount Snow Brewers Festival.

While most of you know the drill by now, I wanted to go over a few key elements for some of our newer fans who will be joining us this year. We’ll start with what’s new and different, and then cover the old standbys that we all know and love.

New for 2017, we’re debuting VIP Packages. This has been something that you all have been asking about for years, and so we’ve decided to give the people what they want. The VIP Package will include 2-Day admission for one adult, a souvenir glass and two drink tokens each day, along with a $20 food voucher, a 2-Day scenic chairlift ride ticket, and a VIP t-shirt. But that’s not all; VIPs will also enjoy the perk of one-hour early admission to the festival each day, giving you ample time to lock down a spot. VIP packages are only available online in a limited number, so make sure to buy early!

Also new for this year, we’ve introduced early bird pricing, so be sure to lock in your tickets by July 31st to get your tickets at last year’s rate.

Now for what we all know and love.

First off, the beer (and cider)

Once again this year we will be welcoming more than 50 breweries and cideries, who will be pouring everything from old favorites to interesting new arrivals out of our 100+ taps.

The Food

Once again there will be tons of great food options on the festival grounds with a huge BBQ on Cuzzins deck along with vendors whipping up kettle korn, crepes, waffles from Waffle Cabin, and a few other surprises to satiate your appetite. My advice however would be to head up to The Bullwheel early, and enjoy a meal with a view before it gets too crowded.

The Music

It wouldn’t be Brewers Fest without the Jeff Tuohy Band, which is why we’ve got them booked for Saturday. If you don’t know Jeff, you’re in for a great surprise. Jeff’s  mix of covers and original songs have packed the tent every year, and kept people dancing long into the second or third encores. We’ll also have live music Sunday, with the band TBA for right now, so it’ll just have to be a surprise for now.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for this weekend. It’s quickly become one of my favorites of the year and I know it’s one yours as well.

See you out there!
