Mount Snow Minute #19: Bud Light Reggaefest

Tuesday, March 19, 2019

Spring is here, and so is Reggaefest!

One of the biggest weekends of the year is only days away, and we can hardly contain our excitement! Our Bud Light Reggaefest is a weekend not to be missed, with two days packed with our favorite events along with live reggae music in the base area throughout the weekend.

Even Mother Nature seems excited, as she'll be setting us up for an awesome weekend to spend outside. On Friday, we see forecasted show showers with a few inches expected, which will make for great turns on Saturday. Temps will warm up for a spring-like Sunday, with clear skies, sunshine, and a high of 44 degrees.

The weekend festivities kick off Friday with Roots of Creation at the Snow Barn, featuring Root Shock as the opener.  On Saturday, 10ft Ganja Plant will take the stage with The Alchemystics for one of the most anticipated shows of the season. Tickets are on sale for both Friday and Saturday, and you can save $5 by purchasing both together online in advance.

During the day Saturday, the Bud Light Sink or Skim pond skimming competition will blow you away as skiers and riders attempt to cross a 100ft pond. Form, style, and costume will help our judges decide who is the deserving winner of a 2019-20 Peak Pass!

That is followed by our Bud Light Duct Tape Derby on Sunday, where homemade sleds are created out of nothing more than cardboard, duct tape, zip ties, and paint. Join us at the top of the Tubing Hill at noon to watch this hilarious event.

Make the most of your weekend with our Reggaefest package, which will bundle 2 night's lodging, 2 days of skiing or riding, and 2 nights at the Snow Barn. Starting at just $264, it's a deal that can't be beat!

And speaking of deals that can't be beat, we have more college discount days this week as well as next. During March 18-22 & 25-29, college students will receive lift tickets for just $33 when they bring their college ID to the ticket window.

Lastly, we still have plenty of spring skiing ahead of us, so pick up your Peak Pass today! For just $99 down, you can use it for the rest of the 2018-19 season as well.

It's going to be an incredibly fun weekend, I can't wait to see you out there!
