Mount Snow Minute #17: March Delivers
Wednesday, March 6, 2019
March is off to a promising start with 8" of snowfall earlier this week, followed by great temps and lots of sunshine! We're still having a blast in the wake of that storm as the carving has never been better and there's plenty of powder left to be found in the woods.
If you're itching to get out here and join us, you should know that Peak Passes are now on sale for the 2019-20 season. If you purchase yours today, you can use it for the remainder of this season as well! Not to mention, you'll save a good chunk of change if you buy before April 30 when prices will increase. And with 14 mountains on one pass, you'll have the opportunity to explore all different types of East Coast skiing and riding!
As we look ahead to the weekend, we have our Military Appreciation on Saturday and Sunday, which means $5 lift tickets for all active members of the military. That $5 will then get donated to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. In addition, dependents and veterans will receive 50% off lift tickets, just bring your military ID to any ticket window to redeem.
As for events, the Mount Gay Rum bar will be back on Main Street this Saturday, with live music from the Creamery Station starting at 12:30 and ending around 4:00pm. Temperatures will range mostly in the 20s with sunshine all day, so it's going to be the perfect afternoon to sit outside and enjoy the day with friends and family.
Meanwhile in Carinthia, Park Affair will be going down and that is a weekend filled with park riding, progression, and socializing with other females in the sport. Registration is full at this time.
Lastly, our Bud Light Shamrock Fest is coming up next weekend, which means $17 lift tickets for Friday, March 15. Those are only available online in advance and quantities are limited, so purchase yours today!
Well, that's all I have for you this week, I'll see you on the snow!
