Mount Snow Minute #13: Season Passholders Appreciation Weekend
Tuesday, February 5, 2019
It's been such a fun week here! Last week's snow storm set us with really nice conditions all across the mountain and you better believe we've been taking advantage.
As we look ahead to the weekend, we do see some precipitation at the end of the week, but we're not worried! Snowmaking is scheduled to return for a quick resurface before the weekend. They plan to fire up the guns before Saturday morning, once temperatures drop to a favorable range for our snowmakers.
And in case you haven't heard, Season Passholder Appreciation Weekend is coming up this Saturday and Sunday. As a thank you to the people who make this place so special, we'll have two days of events, prizes, and discounts! This includes free tubing, a scavenger hunt, 10% off retail all weekend long, and so much more.
On Saturday, swing by the Grand Summit Hotel for wine and cheese starting at 11:30am. Shortly following will be a Q&A with Mount Snow's Senior Management Team. From 3:00-6:00pm, we'll have a raffle drawing to win some really sweet prizes, including a custom trail sign, a personal cat ride to the summit, gift cards, and so much more. At the end of the raffle, all tickets will be pooled to win a 2019/20 season pass!
On Sunday, we kick off the day with our Passholder Uphill Challenge. Skin, snowshoe, or hike to the summit and if you beat the first chair of AM Express (yes, that means bonus AM Express on Sunday), then you win a prize! Make sure to pick up your free Uphill Pass by 4:00pm on Saturday to compete. Not only will the Summit Lodge have coffee and hot chocolate for you once you get up there, but then you'll get to enjoy first tracks down the mountain.
From 10:00-2:00pm, we'll have free race gates on Charlie's Chase where you can challenge yourself on the slalom course. At the bottom, a picnic with food and drinks will be waiting for you. For more details about Season Passholder Appreciation Weekend, visit here .
On the horizon, we have our Cloud Nine Nuptials next Thursday, followed by Presidents Week Winterfest starting February 16. You can still find deals for the holiday week, but you'll want to book ASAP while there is still availability. I'm looking forward to a fun weekend, I'll see you on the hill!
