7 Days of The 4th

With July 4th falling right smack in the middle of the week this year, the Deerfield Valley is celebrating with seven days of activities and events for the whole family. With everything that’s going on, planning out your schedule with your family could prove daunting, so we put together this helpful list to be sure you don’t miss out a single event.

Saturday, June 30th

  • Mount Snow – Live music with Seth Adam live at The Bullwheel, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Join us for great brews and even better views up on the summit of Mount Snow. Earn that beer by hiking up one of our many trails, or kick back and ride the Bluebird Express to the top.
  • Mount Snow Golf Club – Live music with Tom Carroll at Fairways Restaurant from 4 p.m. -7 p.m.
    • The music continues into the evening over at Fairways, with local favorite Tom Carroll playing out on the freshly remodeled deck.

 

Sunday, July 1st

  • Mount Snow Golf ClubSunday Brunch on the deck of Fairways Restaurant, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • Join us for our weekly celebration of summer in Vermont, at the largest outdoor dining venue in the valley. Sit back and enjoy weekly specials while soaking up the sun and sipping on a mimosa.
  • Downtown WilmingtonIndependence Day Fireworks , from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
    • Head over to Hayford Field (below the old High School) for an evening of fun, games, and great food, followed by a fireworks display. 

 

Monday, July 2nd

  • Mount Snow  – Outdoor Exploration Camp, weekdays from  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
    • Summer was meant to be spent outside! Looking for something for the kids to do while you're in town? OEC has you covered with days filled with outdoor adventures including hiking, biking, swimming, golfing, chairlift rides, arts and crafts, exploring local attractions, and MORE.

 

Tuesday, July 3 rd

  • Mount SnowFireworks for Freedom , from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
    • The party starts at 3 p.m. with live music, games, and BBQ, before continuing into the evening when we celebrate Independence Day with a massive fireworks display. The best viewing area will be in front of the Grand Summit Resort Hotel.

 

Wednesday, July 4th

 

Thursday, July 5th

  • Downtown Wilmington Village Stroll , from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. 
    • Downtown Wilmington is the place to be on Thursdays in July! These weekly village strolls feature shops open late, live outdoor performances, local vendors, special events, and children's activities!

 

Friday, July 6th

  • Downtown Brattleboro Gallery Walk , from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
    • This festival of the arts features exhibit openings at galleries, eateries, and other businesses, most within a few blocks of Main Street. Activities, street performances, and more – a festive block party.

 

Saturday, July 7th

  • Mount Snow – Angry Orchard: Rock the Roots Tour , from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
    • Rock the Roots is a one-day cider and music festival you don’t want to miss. If you love hard cider, great music, hanging out with your friends and meeting new ones then Rock the Roots is for you. Join us for a full day of cider experiences, great music and fun including the Angry Orchard Arcade, lawn games and much, much more. Tickets available at mountsnow.com/rock-the-roots

 

Sunday, July 8th

  • Mount Snow Golf ClubSunday Brunch on the deck of Fairways Restaurant, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • Kick back and relax after this event-packed week while enjoying weekly specials, soaking up the sun, and sipping on a mimosa.
