25th Annual Brewers Festival: A FAQ
Our favorite party of the summer is right around the corner, so we wanted to take a moment to address any questions you might have.

When is it?
Our 25th Annual Mount Snow Brewers Festival runs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1.

How much are admission tickets and where can I purchase them?
Discounted admission tickets for Brewers Festival will be available online at mountsnow.com/brewers until 11:59 p.m. on Friday night, August 30. Please head to mountsnow.com/brewers for a complete pricing list. Tickets will also be sold the day of the event at the Admission tent located in the Drop Zone beginning at 10 a.m.

What are the festival hours I should be aware of?
Brewers Festival: Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1 from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.

  • Token Sales: 12 p.m.–5:15 p.m. Each admission ticket comes with 2 free tokens.  Additional tokens are $4 each

  • Last call will be at 5:15 p.m.

  • Last pour will be at 5:30 p.m.

  • The Bluebird Express: Saturday & Sunday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Purchase lift tickets before 4:30 p.m. Lift tickets can be purchased at Mount Snow Sports at the Grand, Drop Zone Admission tent, or at the Bluebird Barn.

Does my admission ticket include scenic chairlift rides?
Nope! Scenic chairlift ride tickets may be purchased in addition to your admission ticket at the Drop Zone Admission tent, the Bluebird Barn, or at Mount Snow Sports at the Main.

Can I use my Peak Pass to take a scenic chairlift ride?
Yes, as long as it is a valid 2019/20 Peak Pass.

Can I purchase my 2019-20 Peak Pass at the Mount Snow Brewers Festival?
The Clocktower Season Pass office will be closed over the weekend, but you can still purchase one at mountsnow.com/passes

Can I pick up my 2019-20 Peak Pass at the Mount Snow Brewers Festival?
All Peak Passes will be mailed out this year, so you will not be able to pick it up at the mountain.  If you purchased a pass but haven’t received it yet and want to take a scenic ride, you can go to the Bluebird Barn with a valid ID and they will print you a ticket for the day.

Can I bring my kids to Brewers Festival?
While you can bring kids to the festival we really don’t recommend it; please note that this is a beer drinking festival and there are no kids activities planned. Our family-friendly festival, Oktoberfest, takes place October 12 & 13.

What breweries are participating this year?
This year’s participating breweries are listed on the Brewers Festival event page at mountsnow.com/brewers. We plan to have over 50 breweries pouring 100+ beers/ciders!

Will there be anything besides beer?
While this is a brewers festival, we’ll have several wine options and some great cider producers on hand as well. Cider is a great choice for those looking for some gluten-free refreshment.

Why did they only fill my glass 2/3 that time?
All beers and ciders that are 8.0% ABV and above will be a 7 oz. pour.

Is there food available during Brewers Festival?
Absolutely. We will have a variety of food options in the Brewers Festival venue for you to enjoy.

Will Jeff Tuohy be there again?
Of course he will be! He’ll be playing on Saturday with DJ Boyer filling in during set breaks along with more live music on Sunday.

Can I bring my dog?
Nope, unfortunately a few bad dog owners spoiled it for the rest of us a few years back and now Mount Snow is a dog-free resort.

Can I bring a chair?
Sure thing.

Can I bring some yard games?
Absolutely, but just know that space can be a bit limited, so might be best to head over to the side of Canyon Express Lift to set up. Also, please leave the lawn darts at home!

I brought a pop-up tent. Can I set it up in the festival area?
You sure can. Just make sure to secure your tent to the ground using sandbags. PLEASE DO NOT stake your tent into the ground; there are many wires buried in the base area that you do not want to disturb. Sandbags will be made available to guests with pop-up tents.

When is the T-shirt contest?
The t-shirt contest will take place on the big chair next to the Bluebird Barn at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday only.

Is there a shuttle service at Mount Snow?
Yes! The MOOver is a FREE shuttle service that provides rides around the Mount Snow Valley.  Visit moover.com or pick up a schedule in the Main Base Lodge to view routes.

Is Mount Snow Bike Park open?
Yup. The Bike Park and Canyon Express lift are open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Stop by Mount Snow Sports at the Grand for more information, rental bikes, maps, etc…

What is the Hops for Hope 5k and how do I sign up?
The Hops for Hope 5k is a fundraiser walk/run for a cure, hosted by The American Cancer Society. The event will be held Saturday, August 31 at 9 a.m. You may register online via mountsnow.com/hops as well as the morning of the event from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Drop Zone.

What if I want to spend the night?
Call Central Reservations at 800-245-SNOW to inquire about lodging availability. We have a wide range of options at the Grand Summit Hotel & Snow Lake Lodge including 1-bedroom studios, suites, and condos. Based on availability.

This is fun! Do you guys put on any other events like this?
Yup!  Like most German-themed Oktoberfest events, the 22nd Annual Mount Snow Oktoberfest will have plenty of beer, schnitzel and Oom-pah music; but throw in kids games, pumpkin painting and the famous “schnitzel toss” and you’ve got two days of fun for the whole family! Mark your calendars for Columbus Weekend, October 12 & 13 and buy online before September 12 for the best deals.
