TBT - What a View!

Over the winter Allen Cole reached out to me with some photos. Here is the note he sent along.
As you know, my Grandfather built most of the masonry work at Mount Snow & the surrounding area. He and Walt were pretty good friends. My dad took these pics, I'm gonna say, around the mid to late fifties??
Allen and I met in the late 80's/early 90's and worked together booking vacations at the call center. Anyone that has worked or hung out with Allen knows that he can make any situation lots of fun. I am very grateful to him for sharing the photos - here are a few.
Building the Main Base Lodge: Love this photo because it shows the construction of the fireplace and stone chimney that is still used daily. I have to say that one of my favorite things about the base lodge are those fireplaces. You can also see the lip of the outdoor pool.
Cuzzin's can always be identified by that roofline and the big boulder (can you spot it?)
View from the summit with the fountain showing off! Those gondola towers look pretty new. Are they just putting a few gondolas on for testing?
