Still Making Snow
Tuesday, March 15, 2016
I thought I would check in to let you know that we just finished up with a snow plan meeting and we are ready to fire up snowmaking on Friday. We see a nice window of snowmaking temps in the forecast so we are firing up the guns again for the weekend. Yes, it is unusual to be making snow on March 18th but it is an unusual year and we think you deserve a little more skiing and riding this winter (or is it Spring?) Plus, the forecast for the weekend is sunny!
We have a full weekend of events planned for you, starting off Saturday with The C.O.M.P., at Carinthia. It will be held on Grommet and is a perfect spectator sport. On Sunday the Brad Haight Bermuda Open will be held on Inferno. This is the last race of the season and should be a lot of fun, with head-to-head competition and small jumps! In the afternoon, the Deerfield Valley Rotary Club will hold its annual tube-a-thon on the tubing hill from 1-4 pm. All proceeds go to local schools.
If you are still undecided, how about a super sweet ticket deal? We have two to choose from.
Our 2016-17 season pass, the Peak Pass, is now on sale and boasts super-low prices and big time benefits. How does $99 down sound? Seriously, you can put down $99 this weekend and ski the rest of this winter.
If you are not into commitments, we've got you covered with our final Youth Pay Their Age Day of the year on Sunday. Anyone 18 yrs and under pays their age for an all-day lift ticket.
So there you have it - lots of great reasons to keep skiing and riding at Mount Snow. Did I mention we are making snow, just for you?
