Devo Program 3/4-3/5

Thursday, March 2, 2017

This weekend we are scheduled for our Parent/Child Race on Sunday, March 5.

Saturday we will be training in a Duel Giant Slalom course on Charlie's. Parents are invited to join us for some practice in the gates on Saturday. Please make sure you sign the Competition Race Events Waiver before you practice in the course on Saturday or race on Sunday. Waivers are available outside of my office on the second floor of the Alpine Training Center.

Sunday, the race will be a one run Duel Giant Slalom on Charlie's Trail. Race start times will be available at line up Sunday morning. Parents and groups should be at the start house 15 minutes before they are scheduled to race. Development Team Members will be on the Blue Course and parents will be on the Red Course.

Development Team Members will compete for medals in the following age groups: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14-16 year olds. Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for males and females in each age group.

All Development Team Members will race in the same course, to get results that are as fair as possible. We want everyone to get a good time, so if a competitor falls or misses a gate they may go back to the start and take a rerun.

Trophies will also be awarded to the 3 fastest parent/child combined times.

All awards will be presented at the Development Program Ice Cream Social, located
In the Grand Summit Ballroom Sunday, March 12, at 3:pm.
