It’s opening weekend for downhill mountain biking at Mount Snow and I don’t know about you, but I’m more than ready to get back on the bike and catch some air. After watching our shop staff build up our new fleet of Scott rental bikes over at Mount Snow Sports @ The Grand, I’ve been daydreaming all week about lapping the park.
This weekend we’ll be opening with every trail except for the Skills Park, which has yet to be built for the season, and Evolver, which needs a bit more time to dry out. That being said, I’m looking forward to laps on Swamp Donkey, Slickrock, and Bullwhip.
Looking at the weather, Saturday appears to be prime for opening day, to me partly sunny skies with temperatures in the high 60s doesn’t get any better for DH laps. So grab your bike, call up some friends, and get up here!
