Alpine Competitions Program

This 18-weekend seasonal program is to train and develop athletes who wish to excel in the world of alpine racing. Training will focus on the specific tactics related to racing on a USSA course. Gate training for Slalom, GS, and Super G will be provided throughout the season based upon the VARA race schedule. If you are competing with us at USSA events you must join USSA, as well as the Vermont Alpine Race Association (VARA).
Participants must be able to master the majority of the mountain terrain and ride all lifts. All new applicants must be screened by our coaches before acceptance to ensure the readiness of the athlete and proper program placement.
First Day: Saturday, December 6th
Last Day: Sunday, March 29th
In addition to running every weekend, the program will operate on the following weekdays:
- December 26th, 29th and 30th
- Februrary 16th
- For supplemental training opportunities, athletes can participate in Friday program activities and the February training camp for an additional fee
Program operates 8:00am on way to lift - 2:30pm

2015-2016 Program Pricing:
Program does not include lift access. Separate season pass or lift ticket required for participation.
$1,450* for the first child
$1,350* for each additional sibling
* Price will increase after October 12, 2015
**Competition Program pricing does not include membership to USSA, USASA, VARA, or any other organization governing the competitions that the MSTC participates in. These fees and individual race and or competition event fees are additional to the program cost. Coaching requested beyond the end date of the program (3/29/15) is available for Regional and National Events; however, the expenses for the coach's travel and lodging are to be split equally per participating competitor.
