the First Day

This Saturday plan to meet your coaches between the clock tower and the cape house at 8:15. Athletes should have a hearty breakfast and a pocket snack or some cash for mid morning break. If you haven't yet, check your equipment for fit and functionality, tighten screws, etc. The conditions are early season, make sure there's some wax on your board. Lunch is about 45 minute between 12:15-1:00, we return to the meeting place to release athletes and pick them up after lunch. The afternoon session is 1-2:30.
Training plan for this weekend: Saturday morning is mostly skill assessment and determining the groups, and getting used to being on snow again. The afternoon we will start with some drills and plan out our season and competition plans. Sunday will be training for discipline specific skills to get ready for our first comps, which will be here before we know it!
Our team meeting will be this Saturday at 3:30 pm. We will go over our plans for the season and answer questions. Parents and athletes should plan on attending, it may be in the training center, I will confirm the location with you at drop off.
