Mount Snow Minute #5: Events, Deals, & New Webcam

Thursday, January 5, 2017

Well, that really was a holiday week for the record books.

Between new events like The Devin Logan Experience, and old favorites like Grommet Jam, and New Year’s, mixed in with 19” of fresh powder and a great lineup of shows at Snow Barn, It was great to see everyone having such and great time on-and-off the slopes.

Looking forward, we’re in the middle of our first of two College Weeks with great deals on lift tickets, lodging, and lessons for college students. Speaking of lift ticket deals, this Sunday is our annual Youth Pay Their Age Day, which means kids 18 and younger pay just $1 for each birthday they’ve celebrated, i.e. if you’re 13, you pay $13.

Over at Carinthia, we’ve also got some exciting updates as The Gulch is being rebuilt to add additional jumps, and Mineshaft is having its first build of the year! These should both be open for the weekend, so keep an eye on the Snow Report for more details. Also, we’ve started blowing snow over on the Superpipe, so stay tuned for opening day announcements to come.

Finally, we know our webcams have a very loyal following, so we’re pleased to announce that we’ve installed a new Prism camera on the North Face. Take a look here, or look back at the time-lapse in the Mount Snow Minute.

See you out there.
