1.30.12 Snowy Monday

Monday, January 30, 2012

Today we woke up to about 3" of snow.  And for this year, it feels like a solid foot!  We headed out to test the product and decided the day was a solid 8.  I'll let the pictures do the talking.

We headed to Sunbrook for great views and fresh tracks.

Next stop Beartrap.  They groomed out the bumps Sunday morning and skier's right was fun.  I'll wait for another storm before hitting skier's left.

at Carinthia, the sides of Mine Shaft still had fresh powder and the new build on Prespector was well done .

Back to the Bluebird for a warm up.  Charlie's Chase looked tempting.

But we opted to head to the North Face.  Good choice - Freefall was so good we lapped it twice.  Okay, part of reason we took a second run is because I dropped my radio on the 1st one.  Luckily, someone found it and turned it into the lift operator.  If you are the good samaritan, THANK YOU!

The last run of the day was Cascade/Canyon/Rollercoaster.  They were making snow on Cascade and mini moguls were starting to develop.

Tomorrow, Tuesday (1/31) we are supposed to wake up to another 1-3" of snow.  If you have any personal days banked up, tomorrow may be the day!!!
