The spring like conditions last weekend gave us a nice surface for the carving drills we worked on and made the moguls soft and fun to ski.

This weekend our focus will be; Skiing In Moguls. We will explore different lines and technics for skiing through a mogul field efficiently and in control.

Sunday we will host our annual Duel Mogul Contest on Lower Exhibition Trail, adjacent to Charlie's Chase. Participants will ski head to head in a course against members of their group. Our Freestyle coaches will judge each run and determine a winner based on carved turns, jumps and speed through the course. Participants may ski the course as many times as they like for the duration of the event.

Parents are invited to watch the event from the bottom of the closed course. Approximate start times, for each group, will be available at lineup Sunday morning.

The 6 inches of natural snow the mountain received this week was a welcome addition to the existing base layer. The forecast for this weekend indicates a return to winter temperatures which, coupled with some fresh machined made snow should give us a great surface to ski on.

See you this weekend
