Anne O'Sullivan -- Annie O, as I call her, has been an Ambassador for 6 years and is crazy about her fellow Ambassadors. A grandmother of 17, she keeps on smiling and enjoying every day.  Except for the kids, her dog Seamus is the love of her life. 

 

Diane Grigos Shapiro -- This lovely lady can be found skiing on Overbrook - that's her favorite trail - helping a guest and getting a thank you at the end of the day makes her day!  Those guests who rent equipment  can find Diane in the rental shop or helping out at Guest Services. Stop by to say hello.  

 

Stan Slugosz --- Stan has been with Mount Snow for 41 years.  (You'd never believe it to look at him, would you?)  35 of those years he was with Rescue, 6 years with Mountain Safety Patrol and Ambassadors.  When I asked Stan what his favorite thing to eat was he said "Everything"!!!   His favorite skiing terrain "Everything".

 

Dona Quinlan --- 8 years in the program and enjoying every day!!!  Retired from banking and loving it!  A great day for Dona includes a flawless run down a freshly groomed "Uncles" and then lunching on a steamy bowl of clam chowder.  She'll enjoy asking you about your day as she wishes you a safe trip home.  Be sure to

say "hi" as you pass her by.

 

Jay Bedrick -- Jay has been skiing at Mount Snow since it opened.  He has been in the Ambassador program for 20 years.  Uncle's and One More Time are his favorite trails and he's always ready to help you.  You can find him with a helmet on his head and a smile on his face.

 

Alan Douglas --  Alan has been with the program for 8 years and his favorite lunch is clam chowder.  You can find Alan greeting the guests and he loves handing out Nature Valley bars.  He skis everywhere but his favorite trail is Uncles.  Alan loves working with the queens.  When you find him at the mountain you can ask him where we are.  Shoe size -- 9.5.

 

David Buckley -- Dave loves the program and the program loves Dave.  His favorite trail is ledge or anywhere skiing with his daughter, Emma. David teaches 7th grade English and works part time as a ski/bike salesman.  You can find Dave in the Drop Off Zone or on the mountain enjoying the day (never skiing under the ropes)!!

 

Joe Schiliro -- Joe loves Fallen Timbers but South Bowl, Plummet, Ridge, etc..... are also his favorites.  What's that tell you about this guy?  He loves it all.  He meets and greets and just goes crazy for guests who start and end the day with a smile.  What do you enjoy most? -- he enjoys it all. 

 

Ed Quinn -- Ed started skiing at Mount Snow in l967.  He joined our ski patrol for 10 years, Mountain Safety Patrol for 7 years and now a member of the Mountain Ambassador program.  A physical education teacher of 38 years, Ed boasts of playing hockey on Snow Lake and handing out cookies with Walt.  Ed says that he's made many great friends in these programs and when you meet him, you'll understand why.

 

Dave Johnson -- This is the first year for Dave in the Ambassador program and he enjoys every minute of it!  And, by the way, we enjoy him as much.    David is a retired community police officer dealing with social problems.  He was with the force for 28 years in Vernon, CT.  

 

Roberta Waller --  This is the first year for Roberta and she is enjoying every minute of it.  Roberta hails from New York spending her weekends with us here at Mount Snow.  You can find her skiing Stugger Chute - that's her favorite - and enjoying Starbucks coffee.  Roberta is small but mighty - we caught carrying skis for Grandma.

Richard Kaufman -- A clinical social worker, Richard enjoys touring the guests around the mountain and working the drop zone.  He skis Upper Ledge to Lodge to Exhitiion to Yard Sale.  Richard can be found eating New Endland Clam Chowder and schmoozing with the guest.   

 

Bonnie Mooney --    Bonnie can be found at the Information desk in the Main Base Lodge.  You will recognize her immediately by her beautiful smile!  Bonnie has been in the program for 8 years and gets the biggest "kick" out of helping the guests!!!

 

Lester French --  Lester began skiing here in 1960.  He said that the skis were 4 ft. shorties with size 11 double lace boots.  Lester has a passion for Mount Snow and can be found everywhere and anywhere that he is needed.
