The sultry sophisticated voice of Samirah Evans captivates audiences across the globe. 
In New Orleans a city known worldwide for its music, Samirah is one of its most popular jazz blues vocalists. She has shared stages with a multitude of legendary national artists from B.B. King, the Godfather of Soul, James Brown, to New Orleans own Queen of Soul, Irma Thomas. Her performances have featured trumpeter Terence Blanchard, saxophonist Charles Neville of the Neville Brothers, Shannon Powell former drummer for Diana Krall and the Harry Connick, Jr. band, Ricky Sebastian (former drummer for renowned jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves). Ricky Sebastian together with Keyboardist/Producer Darrell Lavigne, produced her debut CD "Give Me A Moment" that features her band of New Orleans notables called Silktone.
