Fun and family go hand in hand. Our Family Camp staff are hand-selected from our winter Ski & Snowboard School Staff for their excellent relationship building skills with kids and their parents. Each Staff member has a natural, easy-going manner with our guests and while we train in both guest service and technical abilities, we select the best of the best to make your Family Camp Experience memorable for the entire family. Our philosophy and our goal every week with Family Camp is to not only be on-hand for your needs, but to become an extension of your family. That crazy uncle or aunt who always has some game going with the kids. The quirky cousin who makes you laugh. We're your Mount Snow Family that shows you all the secret gems of a southern Vermont summertime and helps you to unplug and reconnect. Family Camp: the emphasis is on being Family.

Mike Mitton - Family Camp founder and Director

Mike has been in the golf/sports recreation business for over 25 years. After many years of leadership of golf operations, coaching youth baseball, softball, and golf and involvement in FCA camps, Mike was excited to spearhead the development of The Family Camp at Mount Snow. His desire was to create an environment where families could come together, "disconnect" from the busyness of life, and reconnect through outdoor activities, games, family meals and all that the beauty of The Green Mountains of Vermont had to offer. He is excited for what the second year of Family Camp has to offer.
