Each event learn new techniques from our Training Center Coaches, Park Rangers, and Ski & Snowboard School Instructors. Our last event this year will be under the lights for even more fun. USASA invades Mount Snow again for two events in January and Febuary including the Southern Vermont Championships.
Snowboarders Only: The Main Event Series drops into Mount Snow, February 3 in this boxing themed slopestyle event.
The Anti-Gravity Grail returns with three days of action. The JBL Rail Jam throws down in Jiblet on Friday night followed by the Head Mega Mother Hucker featuring skiers and riders jumping over (yes I said over) a live rock band, LivinTrust on Saturday and the SoBe Superpipe Jam on Sunday. $10,000 in cash and $10,000 in prizes will be awarded to skiers and riders.
The Mount Snow Freeski Open – March 22-23, 2008. Southern Vermont will be the place to be this weekend for the biggest freestyle events in the country. While Stratton hosts the US Open of Snowboarding, Mount Snow will host the top pro athletes in free-skiing as apart of the Freeski Opens Tour. Saturday night will feature a night pipe event followed by a huge slopestyle competition in the VERMONTSTER on Sunday.
Music: If you haven’t seen our live music line up what have you been waiting for?
Saturdays hit up après ski at Cuzzins or the Midstation with live music from 3pm – 7pm. Later take in some fun at the Snow Barn. The Barn is throwing down its biggest line up ever. All those appearing on stage after New Year’s will have sold out the Barn in their previous engagements so be sure to get there early to all the shows on Saturday night.
Looking for a more mellow evening? Head to Harriman’s in the Grand Summit Hotel for a romantic dinner, drinks and some beautiful jazz with Samirah Evans every Friday & Saturday night.
The Bud Light Reggae Festival closes out the season of music with a bang this year on March 28 – 30, 2008. The full line up is coming soon but all we can say is Toots and the Maytals are headlining. If they aren’t enough to get you moving to some reggae nobody is.
