Mount Snow does not have an “employee housing program.” Some employees share houses with other staff. Mount Snow maintains a list of available accommodations in the Human Resources office, or online below. You can also use this list for “roommate wanted” or “house/apartment wanted” postings.
1. When renting directly from a homeowner instead of a real estate agency, be sure to carefully read and sign a lease that clearly identifies when your security deposit will be returned and who is responsible for paying which utilities (electricity, oil/propane, telephone, trash removal, snow removal, T.V., etc.).
2. Do not sign a lease or put money down on a place that you have not physically inspected first.
3. Take a thorough inventory of your place before moving in and after moving out to ensure the full return of your security deposit money.
4. Review the Renting in Vermont Handbook, written by the Vermont Tenants Inc., located at the following web link.

Looking for a Place to Park a Camper
We have a 30-foot camper that we are looking to park on somebody's property for the 16-17 winter season as early as November and as late as May. We would like to hook into the electric, but if we can't, we will need to run a generator for a few hours every night to juice the batteries. A free public shuttle bus system called the MOO-ver (buses are painted to look like cows!) travels up and down the major route in West Dover/ Wilmington and stops at Mount Snow. It also runs on a limited basis to East Dover, Jacksonville, Whitingham and Readsboro. Many of our staff ride the MOO-ver to and from work.
